In The Midst of Trials

One
fateful night, after I had spent a splendid time studying and praying, I
prepared to ease into my writing by checking my messages.
You wouldn’t believe the message I got. My eyes literally
widened in shock. I read the message over and over again. It is not possible, I
said to myself. This can’t be true!
It was far from being good news, friend.
I was in the midst of a mess. Someone had set me up. Now I was
called to my own defense.
I
lost my balance. Lord, what is this?
 At 2 am I couldn’t bear it
any more, I woke Obi up and briefed him. He began to pray about it too.
It was time for a divine
intervention. I had less than 24 hours to prove I was innocent of this
senseless accusation. At about 8:30 am, I let a few sisters know about
what was going on and we prayed. The Word was declared over the situation.
Sometimes we need other sister friends in our lives to pray
along with us
.
We need true friends who would stand by us in faith.
What happened next was nothing short of a miracle…..today I am very glad to write over at Bethany’s place as a contributor to her ongoing “Word Works series“. Please join me over there.

Praising God with you for His faithfulness and for those prayer warriors who stood with you. You are right, friend, we need strong fighters to contend with us because we are not of this world. 🙂

  • Oh I love your strategy Ifeoma. And YES. The Word of God reigns supreme. Even in the midst of our messes.

I wrote about that in my journal earlier today…Confirmation! Hugs. Susan

  • So needed to read this today. Thank you, Lord, for directing me to click through from FMF. Thank you Ifoema. Helen xx

  • Thank you for sharing this Ifeoma. Such hope and encouragement is stored up in your words!

  • Praise the Lord for answered prayers, Ifeoma! My husband is going through a situation with false accusations at his work. If the Lord doesn't intervene there is no telling what will happen. I have a few ladies helping me pray. No matter what the outcome is, I believe God is still in control. Have a wonderful weekend, my friend.

  • Amen! Our God's Word and our Faithful Father is always with us! 🙂
