Ever been in a bad situation where your heart aches and yearns for help?
I’m sure many of us can identify with this. Only few people will stand with you when the stormy days come. The bible says a faithful man who can find?
Whether we believe it or not God is faithful.
Countless times we take God’s love for granted; we over and again hurt him. We lead such busy lives, too busy for that which matters most in life. I was studying the bible earlier today and stumbled upon Psalm 22:9. It says “….and none can keep alive his own soul.” Amazing isn’t it? We often live as though we can sustain ourselves. God is the very and only reason we live. There is always something around us to remind us of God’s love for His children.
I asked my Sunday school kids to do a write up on “seek you first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness and these things shall be added unto you” Matthew 6:33.
My kids gave me a big surprise they seem to understand what the scripture meant even more than many adults. I was truly blessed by reading their write-ups.
I don’t want to wake up one morning having all that the world has to offer and lose my best friend, Jesus. It’s really not worth it.
I love this hymn “what a friend we have in Jesus” it gives me this feeling of cry-laugh not being sure of which one it is.
If you have been toiling all your life, I invite you to let go and let God’s love pour into your heart.
