Recall the woman at the well?
Yes, the very woman whose story Jesus revealed with astonishing clarity.
Bible Reading: John 4: 4-42
She was the one to whom Jesus offered living water.
Her past was a record she might have carried with shame.
Perhaps her name was often whispered in the corners of the city.
Yet none of that stopped her from boldly proclaiming the Name of Jesus.
After meeting Jesus, her heart burned for others to experience what she had found.

She was unselfish:
While many of us hide our light away, hesitant to show we belong to Christ, this woman eagerly shared the Good News.
Whether it was perfectly done or not,
Whether they came from ‘unworthy lips’ or not,
The woman’s testimony of Christ turned the whole city around.
She was unashamed:
Her past and reputation no longer mattered. The opinions of others faded into insignificance.
She saw herself as the least, putting others’ needs above her own because they, too, needed to meet Jesus.
She had met someone greater than both her past and her reputation.
Jesus is Greater than Your Past and Your Reputation.
She was unrestrained:
When you truly encounter Jesus, your words flow freely for the sake of the gospel.
Your passion and fire for the gospel cannot be contained.
The boldness to speak rested upon her. That’s how it is; ask Apostle Peter or Apostle Paul.
She was unselective:
Everyone needed to hear! Picture her stirring the whole community, pulling them from their routines and daily busyness.
This woman became unstoppable for Jesus. Not just a few friends or a select group, but everyone heard her message.
She Shared Her Story:
There is power in saying how lost, how far and how deep we were away from Christ. There is power in telling how grace reached us and saved using how grace saved us.
…come see a man who knows my struggles
…come meet with the person who changed my life; he would change yours too if you believe
…come meet with the person who touched my heart in a unique way, and I don’t feel any judgment but love and mercy.
She shared her encounter with Christ.
When last did you speak to someone about Jesus?
Is your encounter with Jesus healing, deliverance, salvation, peace, freedom from bondage and addiction?
Your story may do it for a lost soul.
Share your testimony for God’s glory.
