“I want life, more life and more life”.
I watched my friend go through the devastation, battles,
tests, chemotherapy and of course lots of prayers too. It wasn’t long she became distant and resolved to
fate that maybe this was it for her.

Every time she wanted to call it quit, she will look at the family and friends that surrounded her. She considered her assignment in reaching lives for Jesus as incomplete.
She found hope again wanting to live not for anything else but…
for these people,
for her assignment,
for her God.
I love how God steps in when hopelessness glares. When we think it is over, God says No, your story has just begun!
On and on living everyday became a miracle. Until
that glorious day she told me, ‘it is gone, they couldn’t find anything’.

I knew this was the miracle we all were waiting to hear. She went through it,
fought it and now she is a breast cancer survivor. I am grateful to God for her
life, Alleluia.

That long season when her life hung on the balance, all she chose to see was Hope upon hope.
Living everyday is a miracle. We don’t need to be reminded that
our frame is fragile and the Lord keeps us through.

When I read Heather Von St. James survival story, all
the thoughts and memories of my friend flooded my heart. I readily said, “why
not” to joining her campaign.

Heather suffered from a rare form of cancer called
Mesothelioma and was given 15 months to live but God stepped in.
