Advent Day 2: You Are Loved

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16

I had frequent breakouts on my face. The spots were visible. I would stare at the mirror lost in thoughts. My aunt knew my thoughts. Sometimes, she would call them beauty marks. Other times she would calmly say “Don’t worry they would go away”. This was part of my growing process.

God doesn’t love this clay pot less. Freckles or no freckles.

In spite of our sinful nature, God gave us the most precious gift ever. His son, Jesus. This is love so amazing. Regardless of our past, God has poured His love upon us.

Oh what great Grace we have received! All our hearts need is to believe and receive God’s gift of love.

But how can there be a believing when there is hardly a recognition of that love?

Do you see God’s love in your life?

Today, be thankful for the love you have enjoyed in every area of your life

  • Dear Ifeoma,
Oh this is such a truthful thought concerning God’s Love:
“But how can there be a believing when there is hardly a recognition of that love?”
How I pray for those around me, and for myself as well, that we would open our eyes to see and embrace the great love of our Lord this Christmas! Blessings to you!
