Thankful for God’s Constant Presence

Grateful for the Constant presence of God

Welcome to Day 6 of our 30 Days of gratitude where I share bit-size devotionals of thanksgiving

Bible Reading: Exodus 33:14

I’m thankful for God’s constant presence.

You may not realise this, but you are constantly surrounded by His presence.

God never leaves us alone in this dark world.

Honestly, I tell you, every time I think of God’s presence, I think of the man, Moses.

Moses knew that God’s presence made a difference in life’s journey. He pressed on until he got the assurance of God’s Word.

Travelling on the road with God equals a journey into your place of rest.

It doesn’t mean the enemy won’t try to invade your territory. Know this, you have the chariots of fire surrounding your abode if you’ve got Christ.

The question is; Do you have Christ?

God’s presence guarantees rest and peace. It is a risk to carry on with life without His presence in your life.

Elisha knew what he knew about God (2 Kings 6:8-20).

He knew there were the constant chariots of fire about him. When the Syrians came, he remained unmoved. God’s presence never leaves his people (Hebrews 13:5).

Today, I am soaking up that presence.

When you feel surrounded, overwhelmed, alone, recall the chariots of fire.

Prayer prompt: Ask the Lord to tabernacle in your life. His presence makes a light difference in this present dark world.
