weekends but this weekend was by far different. There were hidden crevices and corners
that I would normally overlook but on that day, I chose to go beyond my normal
routine.
the long dusty weather and needs a little more cleansing.
Cleaning that day brought thoughts that made me reflect on life. It wasn’t long before I realised that there are hidden
areas of my life that need cleansing too.

me to know wisdom. Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean: wash me, and I
shall be whiter than snow. Psalm 51:6-7
wants is your clean hands and a pure heart.

shall receive the blessing from the LORD, and righteousness from the God of his
salvation. This is the
generation of them that seek him, that seek thy face, O Jacob. Selah.
be pure before thee oh Lord. Nothing else matters than to dwell in your presence, let your mercy flood over my soul. Make
my hands clean and rid me of strange thoughts and desires that are contrary to your Word in Jesus name. Amen
perhaps Bathsheba would not have been an issue. But he paid dearly for his
carelessness.
Far too long, we dance around the corridors
of sin and don’t expect to get burnt.
of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily
beset us, and let us run with
patience the race that is set before us,
and need to be flushed out.
