I cleaned and scrubbed as it is my manner on most
weekends but this weekend was by far different. There were hidden crevices and corners
that I would normally overlook but on that day, I chose to go beyond my normal
routine.

As I did the windowpanes, it had accumulated dusts over
the long dusty weather and needs a little more cleansing.

Cleaning that day brought thoughts that made me reflect on life. It wasn’t long before I realised that there are hidden
areas of my life that need cleansing too.
There are nooks and crannies we overlook. Ignoring these secret places, will make the dirt blow
up in our faces.

The Lord requires that if we must draw near, then let’s get rid of those little dirt in our lives. We can’t bribe our way through with offerings and sacrifices.
He is not desirous of your sacrifice; what He
wants is your clean hands and a pure heart.

Please join me and make this prayer: Lord, cleanse my life grant that my heart

my hands clean and rid me of strange thoughts and desires that are contrary to your Word in Jesus name. Amen

You may not recognize them easily but they are there
and need to be flushed out.

Today, let us look deep into areas we rarely speak
about.

Is there lust, pride, anger, gluttony hanging
around the corners of your heart?

This is an invitation for us to be hushed and allow
the Lord work in our hearts.

It is an opportunity to invite the Holy Spirit in these secret places of our heart. When we do, He works thorough and through our hearts thus refining us.
