I invited her into my room.
For one who was close to my heart we have shared fond memories, times and places together. But distance and time had separated us. Our laughter was long and loud. A sudden break by sadness.
Deep grief swept over my soul. I wish I had been there.
The word ‘rape’ was all it took to change the ambience of the room.

May be she is you…
Did it happened to you too?
Or may be it is the other kind of rape,
Have you have been emotionally raped?
May be your dreams were forcefully taken away,
And now you have concealed it for the unbearable shame.
Your story is not like this one.
Firstly, I may never come to understand your own story.
And second, no two situations are the same.
I know you hate to go there, I do too.
But our hearts have been bruised.
Whether it is you or someone you know,
if it happens to one it bruises all our sister-hearts.
I don’t know how your story went.
Honestly, I can’t handle the details.
I will cry all the way through your story.
Only you can tell how difficult it is picking up the shattered pieces.
You know the struggle with acceptance and forgiveness.
Sometimes, the pieces sheers through your fingers and the pain burns over again.
For every tears and pain you have felt…you are not alone
But I want to walk hand in hand with you,
I want to connect heart to heart,
I want us to kneel together before the cross
We will tell Him the wrong and how much we hurt.
We would pour our tears,
We would lay our burdens,
We would take on forgiveness,
We would wear our princess garments of wholeness,
We would embrace the courage to get up hope-filled.
One Word of Hope from the scriputre for you (2 Corinthians 4:8-10)
We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed; Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body. 2 Corinthians 4:8-10
Nothing life throws at us can be comapred to the glory that awaits us.
Absolutely, nothing can be exchanged for the eternal blessings.
There is living hope in the Well.
There is life from the Fountain of living Waters.
As we drink, Jesus will make our hearts whole.
He will bind our broken hearts.
Jesus will heal us.
He will take every shame and wear on us beautiful dresses fit.
The mess will He, mould into a stunning piece, woven delicately for Glory.
We will laugh because our captivity has been turned around.
PS: This piece is dedicated to every woman who has been there! I pray you find hope.
