She stared steadily at the cross that hung on the wall. Then she made An Unlikely Prayer.
We hang the cross in our homes but it’s more important we keep it in our hearts.
It is a reminder of our heavenly home.
It reminds us of the greatest sacrifice made for human kind.
It takes you picking up your cross and following Him to be the Cross Girl
Not a onetime thing but a faithful-till-the-end commitment.
Bible Readings: Luke 10:1-20, Luke 21:36
And for all who would stay faithful to the end, He etched their names in the greatest Book there ever is.
Keep pressing on for the journey is not as far as it seems.
Fix your eyes on the cross of Hope.
Not forgetting the price paid so dearly.
Of Blood so thick, living and flowing.
The cross stands before you and the world behind. Don’t turn back, friend.
I love the testimony in this video as much as I love the song. Please listen to it, I think you will like it too!
Do not look back and be as Lot’s wife.
Be not a pillar so nameless, lonely and salty.
The road is so narrow yet only few would ever get to find it!
Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. Matthew 7:13-14
Many have fallen sick, tired and weary of this faith journey. But you, remain, keep pressing on until your day here in this world is done.
Keep your watch. Stand on your guard. He comes quickly (Revelations 3:11, 22:7, 22:12, 22:20).
Do not faint. Tarry a while long. Keep your flame burning oh, watch man. Put not out your candle. Keep your oil. Your midnight oil burning. Possess your vessels with oil so great.
Be found faithful to the end
Press on until the very end.
Rejoice not because you have cast the demons or defeated the enemies or have done great works or have many followers… That’s where the distraction lies. That is what Jesus explained to His disciples
Rejoice for your name is in the Book of life. Or is it?
And the seventy returned again with joy, saying, Lord, even the devils are subject unto us through thy name. And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven. Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you. Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven. Luke 10: 17-20
Is your name written in that Book?
Are you sealed with the Holy Spirit?
In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, Ephesians 1:13
And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption. Ephesians 4:30
Does the Holy Spirit mark you His own?
That’s what matters seeing that day is coming. It is very close now. Many have gone before us. They are waiting for you and I to come Home. They wait and cheer us on. They wait for us to enter into our rest.
See your name! Is it there?
Today’s Prayer
Dear Jesus I surrender to you. I am tired and weary I can’t live here without you. Lord Jesus lead me home safely, seal me with your Holy Spirit in Jesus Name. Amen
