And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn. Luke 2:7
Every home was filled. The inn too. The sheds occupied.
Every heart busy and distracted. Save one tiny corner on the stable. The animals were blessed to have the savior come in to their space.
A space in the barn but there was no room in the homes.
In the company of animals but everyone seemed too busy.
Is there room for Jesus in your home?
Is there room for Him in your heart?
Don’t make this Christmas ‘busy’. Make it all about Jesus. Let Him be priority in all your decisions.
Let the Name of the Lord be glorified in all that you do.
Today, unpack all the unnecessary.
Family Activity: Let every gift you hand out remind others of Jesus by writing tiny notes or verses attached.
Prayer: Dear Lord, come into my heart, today. Like the stable on that lonely night, find me available for you to dwell in Jesus name.
