Advent Day 4: God Is With Us

Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel. Isaiah 7:14

The fulfillment of the prophecy unwraps the gift of salvation. It brought forth the this joy unspeakable. The angels joined in the joyful celebration. That gift of His Son to a dying world.

Immanuel, meaning “God with us”. That is all we need. The reassurance that He is right there in the midst of rising or falling, pushing and pulling, ups and downs….Jesus is with you!

To everyone who has come to Jesus and believed, He is with you.

Sun rise to Sun down, God is with us all who have received the gift of salvation through His precious begotten Son Jesus.

Do you struggle to believe that Jesus is there with you?

Today, rest your hope in the Name of the Lord, Immanuel, God with us.

Family Activity: Prepare a Family dinner together. Talk about how God has showed up in difficult times.

Prayer: Dear Lord, help me to trust you enough to know you are always there. Help me to overcome every unbelief that lurks.

  1. Dear Ifeoma,
Oh this thought is just what I needed to hear today: “the reassurance that He is right there in the midst of rising or falling, pushing and pulling, ups and downs….Jesus is with you!” His name, Immanuel, is always so precious to me. But to think of Him here in the middle of the rising and falling of my days, is even more beautiful now. Thank you dear friend for this today!
