Let’s break it down, If you don’t guard your heart, it will control you instead.
Your heart is the gateway to every issue in your life.
Yes, everything revolves around the contents of your heart.
Notice how you say, I feel sick and you actually become sick. As a mom there are several times we walk the corridors of doubt, fear or anxiety over our kids.
It is the thought processes we engage that dominate our life pattern.
The heart is the gate way of Wisdom or Foolishness into our soul (Proverbs 2:10).
The heart is the access into your soul, good or bad.
God constantly urges us to keep His promises and instructions, where? In our Hearts.
He taught me also, and said unto me, Let thine heart retain my words: keep my commandments, and live. Proverbs 4:4
The question dear friend is…
Are you guarding your heart?
The contents of your heart finds it’s way through your conversation.
It also reflects who you are and dictates how you live.
We don’t want to live in fear, anxiety, depression, anger, constant panic, etc. but sadly many of us do. If we take charge of our hearts, we will see the changes we want.
If our hearts are placed in the Word, then we will be Unshakable.
